Legal basis

ENR 5.6.1.6-1, official English translation: "Overflying forbidden both to civil and military engined aircraft, engined ultralight machines and helicopters... Provision art. 11 Law n. 394 of 6th December 1991." The gazetted text names only motorized VDS (apparecchi a motore per il volo da diporto o sportivo); DPR 133/2010 art. 2 lett. d) defines the unpowered apparecchio per il volo libero (hang glider/paraglider) as a separate, unnamed category. No takeoff-site-permission detail is published for this subgroup, unlike the Trentino provincial floor.

Civil and military aircraft, engined ultralight/microlight (VDS) apparatus and helicopters may not fly over this area (Provision art. 11 Law n. 394 of 6 December 1991; ENAV AIP ENR 5.6.1.6, official English translation). No flight restriction applies to unpowered hang gliders and paragliders within this area, which DPR 133/2010 art. 2 classifies separately as apparecchio per il volo libero, and the overflight is allowed.
