LSR54 Calanda MO
- Type
- Gliding area with cloud-separation rule (W)
- Height
- 4.570 mFL1503.960 mFL130
- Entry
- This gliding area creates no entry prohibition. The cloud-separation rule includes paragliders and hang-gliders, but applies here only during MIL-OFF. Underlying airspace rules still apply.
Airspace details are currently unavailable.
Conditions
The published cloud-separation rule applies from 1 March to 31 October between sunrise and sunset within its valid altitude band, subject to area remarks and NOTAM. It permits 50 m vertical and 100 m horizontal cloud separation for paragliders and hang-gliders too; flight visibility remains 5 or 8 km. CTR, TMA and P, R and D areas remain excluded. Without confirmed prerequisites, ordinary cloud separation applies; this area alone neither prohibits entry nor overrides another restriction. The MO part applies only during MIL-OFF above FL130 up to the lower of FL150 and 15000 ft AMSL using LSZS QNH. This establishes neither a current MIL-OFF state nor a higher usable ceiling.VFR Manual Switzerland 10/26 (01 OCT 2026), RAC 3-1-4 §8.1; RAC 3-1-5 LSR54SHV Luftraumbroschüre 2026, pp. 12–13
